Robert Stivers (Republican Party) is a member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 25. He assumed office in 1997. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Stivers (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Kentucky State Senate to represent District 25. The Republican primary for this office on May 21, 2024, was canceled.

Stivers became the state Senate president in 2013. Before that, he served as state Senate majority leader from 2009 to 2013. Before his election to the state Senate, Stivers was a candidate for Commonwealth Attorney in 1993.[1]


Biography

Stivers earned his B.S. in industrial management from Sue Bennett Junior College and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky. His professional experience includes working as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney and a private practice attorney.
